Translation
King Purūravā said: O most beautiful woman! You are welcome. Please sit here and tell me what I can do for you. Enjoy with me. We can enjoy sex life for many years.
May we have sex life (verb should be supplied).
Personal Guidance
Purūravā instantly invites the unknown woman to enjoy life with him 'as long as you desire.' Speed of commitment, made under attraction, leaves no time for the discernment that any union actually requires.
Reflection Questions
- Where am I currently making commitments at the speed of attraction rather than the pace of discernment?
- What would slowing down by even a week have saved me from in the past?
