Translation
From the mind of Lord Brahmā, Marīci took birth, and from Marīci, Kaśyapa appeared. From Kaśyapa, in the womb of Aditi, daughter of Dakṣa, Vivasvān took birth.
The chain Brahmā → Marīci → Kaśyapa → Vivasvān shows that lineage and discipleship carry weight. We inherit not only DNA but spiritual transmission.
Reflection Questions
  • What lineage — biological and spiritual — am I actually living from?
  • Whom am I transmitting to next, and what specifically am I passing on?
