Gauḍīya
Translation
Sūta Gosvāmī said: O learned brāhmaṇas! When Śukadeva Gosvāmī, the son of Dvaipāyana, was thus questioned by the King, with great joy he began to describe further the glories of the Supreme Lord.
Personal Guidance
Sūta reports that Śukadeva, pleased with the king's question, continues describing the Lord's glories. A good question makes the teacher generous. The disciple's eagerness opens the teacher's storehouse.
Reflection Questions
- What quality of question am I bringing to my own teachers?
- How can I cultivate the kind of inquiry that draws more from those who teach me?
