The fish then said: O King, I am a large aquatic, and this water is not at all suitable for Me. Now kindly find some way to save Me. It would be better to put Me in the water of a lake that will never reduce.

Translation
O King! This water body is not at all suitable for me. Put me in a lake that will never dry up in order to save me.
Put me in a lake which does not dry up (avidāsini) as a means (rakṣā-yogena) that I will not die by lack of water.
Personal Guidance
I am a large aquatic — this water won't do. Put Me in a lake that will never reduce. The Lord asks for permanence, not just size. We need a non-shrinking container, not just a bigger one.
Reflection Questions
- Where do I offer the Lord a large but shrinking container — energy, time, attention that depletes?
- What in my life would qualify as a 'lake that will never reduce'?
