Translation
Arriving quick as the mind, Jāmbavān, king of the bears, sounded his bugle in all directions and declared a great festival for Vāmana's victory.
Jāmbavān, king of bears, sounded his bugle and declared a festival for Vāmana's victory. Even non-human, non-demigod beings have proper roles in celebration. The dharmic community is wider than we assume.
Reflection Questions
  • Whom do I exclude from sacred celebration that scripture would include?
  • What 'Jāmbavān' in my circle should be invited to sound their distinctive bugle?
