पत्युर्निगदितं श्रुत्वा दैत्यदानवयूथपा: ।
रसां निर्विविशू राजन् विष्णुपार्षदताडिता: ॥ २५ ॥

Translation
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: O King! In accordance with the order of their master, all the chiefs of the demons entered the lower regions of the universe, while being beaten by the associates of Viṣṇu.
Personal Guidance
Following Bali's order, the demons entered the lower regions, driven by Viṣṇu's soldiers. Obedience to a wise leader's call for retreat is itself a victory of dharma. Going down at the right time is going up in the long arc.
