The Lord’s conchshell, named Pāñcajanya, which made sounds like that of a cloud; the very forceful club named Kaumodakī; the sword named Vidyādhara, with a shield decorated with hundreds of moonlike spots; and also Akṣayasāyaka, the best of quivers — all of these appeared together to offer prayers to the Lord.

Translation
The Lord's conchshell, named Pāñcajanya, which made sounds like that of a cloud; the very forceful club named Kaumodakī; the sword named Vidyādhara; his shield decorated with hundreds of moonlike spots; and also Akṣayasāyaka, two excellent quivers—offered prayers to the Lord.
Then Sudarśana and others who were watching the Lord began to praise him. The verb is in the next verse. His sword is called Vidyādhara. Hs shield is engraved with a hundred moons.
Personal Guidance
The Pāñcajanya conch, Kaumodakī club, Vidyādhara sword with hundred-moon shield, Akṣayasāyaka quiver — all appeared to offer prayers. Even weapons worship the Lord. Every tool, in its proper place, is devotional.
Reflection Questions
- What tool of mine — laptop, phone, instrument — could be re-oriented as an offering rather than a means?
- Where do I treat objects as inert when scripture sees them as devotional participants?
