Bali Mahārāja, the worshiper of Lord Vāmanadeva, jubilantly washed the Lord’s lotus feet and then took the water on his head, for that water delivers the entire universe.

Translation
Bali Mahārāja jubilantly washed the Lord's lotus feet and then took the water, which purifies the universe, on his head.
Personal Guidance
Bali jubilantly washed the Lord's feet and put the water on his head — that water delivers the universe. The same act done with jubilation transmits universal grace. Mechanical worship does not carry this power.
Reflection Questions
- Where do I perform devotional acts mechanically when jubilation is the actual qualifier?
- What would change in my worship if I treated my head as deserving the foot-water?
