Being situated in a meditational trance, Kaśyapa Muni, whose vision is never mistaken, could see that a plenary portion of the Supreme Personality of Godhead had entered within him.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
Kaśyapa, whose knowledge is always true, understood by absorption in samādhi that a portion of the Lord had entered within him. Avitathekṣaṇaḥ means “whose knowledge is not futile.”
Kaśyapa, in trance, saw a plenary portion of the Lord had entered him. The husband knows. Spiritual partners are not surprised by what happens through their union; they perceive it directly.
Reflection Questions
  • Where am I oblivious to spiritual movements happening through me because I am not in regular trance?
  • What practice would let me perceive divine entry rather than merely report it after the fact?
