My Lord, I offer my respectful obeisances unto You, who are dressed in yellow garments, whose bodily hue resembles the marakata gem, and who have full control over the goddess of fortune. O my Lord Keśava, I offer my respectful obeisances unto You.

Gauḍīya
Translation
I offer respects to you, Keśava dressed in yellow garments, with a dark blue complexion, possessor of Lakṣmī. I offer my respectful obeisances unto you.
Personal Guidance
Obeisances to You in yellow garments, marakata-gem hued, controller of Lakṣmī — O Keśava. The prayer names His specific form. Imagining Him precisely is part of worship; vague obeisance to a vague Lord falls short.
Reflection Questions
- Can I picture the Lord's form with the specificity scripture provides?
- Where does my generalized 'God' need to become this specific Keśava?
