Translation
I offer respects to you the Supreme Lord, the greatest person, who resides in all beings, Vāsudeva, the witness of everything.
Personal Guidance
I offer obeisances to You, who live in every heart and in whom all live. Witness of everything, Vāsudeva, all-pervading — obeisances. The prayer locates the Lord internally and universally at once. Both directions are honored.
Reflection Questions
- Do I tend to find the Lord 'inside' or 'outside,' missing the simultaneity scripture asserts?
- Where would naming Him as 'witness of everything' shift my behavior right now?
