The breezes blowing in the streets of the city bore the fragrance of the flowers falling from the hair of the women of the demigods.

Translation
The breezes blowing in the streets of the city bore the fragrance of the flowers falling from the hair of the devatā women.
The street breezes carried the fragrance of flowers falling from the women's hair. Heaven communicates through breeze and fragrance. The senses, properly elevated, are channels of the divine.
Reflection Questions
  • Where do I deprive my senses, assuming spirituality means starving them?
  • What ordinary breeze and fragrance in my day could be recognized as a heavenly message?
