Translation
Viśvāvasu and Parāvasu, the two chiefs of the Gandharvas, sang. The kettledrums of the devatās sounded and the Apsarās danced in jubilation.
Gandharvas sang, drums sounded, Apsarās danced in jubilation. Victory celebration is a real part of dharmic life. The sacred world makes time for joy after struggle. Not all is sober work.
Reflection Questions
  • When did I last celebrate a victory with full-bodied joy rather than minimize it?
  • What recent triumph deserves an Apsarā dance — and what could that look like in my modern life?
