Other demons covered Indra, along with his chariot and chariot driver, with incessant showers of arrows, just as clouds cover the sun in the rainy season.

Translation
Other demons covered Indra, along with his chariot and chariot driver, with a mass of arrows, just as clouds cover the sun in the rainy season.
Personal Guidance
Other demons covered Indra and his chariot with incessant arrows, like clouds covering the sun in rainy season. Sometimes even the brightest is temporarily obscured. The sun does not stop being sun under clouds; we simply cannot see it.
Reflection Questions
- Whose light have I declared 'gone' when it was only temporarily covered?
- Where am I obscured to others right now, and is it useful to wait for the clouds to pass before judging?
