Lord Brahmā, surrounded by the other demigods, was bright-faced because the Lord was pleased. Thus he offered prayers to the Lord with transcendental words.

Translation
Surrounded by the devatās, Brahmā, seeing the joyful face of Narasiṁha, began speaking with pure words, praising the Lord.
Brahmā, bright-faced because the Lord is pleased, offers prayers with transcendental words. Brahmā's joy depends on the Lord's pleasure. Even cosmic creators are barometers of His mood.
Reflection Questions
  • Whose joy in your circle most reliably mirrors a deeper spiritual state?
  • Where could your own pleasure track the Lord's pleasure rather than your circumstance?
