Pūṣā had no sons. When Lord Śiva was angry at Dakṣa, Pūṣā had laughed at Lord Śiva and shown his teeth. Therefore he lost his teeth and had to live by eating only ground flour.

Translation
Pūṣā had no sons. Pūṣā, who had laughed at Lord Śiva who was angry at Dakṣa and shown his teeth, had his teeth broken and had to live by eating only ground flour.
Pūsā laughed at Śiva who was anger and showed his teeth (vivṛta-dvijaḥ).
Personal Guidance
Pūṣā had no sons; he had once laughed at Lord Śiva, so he lost his teeth and lives on ground flour. Even demigods bear long consequences of a single mocking smile.
Reflection Questions
- What 'smile of mockery' has left a long-tail consequence in my life?
- Where am I still 'eating ground flour' because of an old casual disrespect?
