Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
Now please hear from me the names of all these daughters and their descendants, who filled all the three worlds.
Śukadeva announces he will name all the daughters and their descendants who filled the three worlds. The cosmic genealogy is itself worth knowing — names matter.
Reflection Questions
  • Do I treat names of sacred persons as worth memorizing, or skip them as 'just lists'?
  • What lineage am I a small descendant of, and do I know its names?
