I prayed for only one son, but now I see that there are forty-nine. How has this happened? My dear son Indra, if you know, please tell me the truth. Do not try to speak lies.

Translation
I prayed for only one son, who has become forty-nine sons. How has this happened? O my son Indra! If you know how this has happened, please tell me. Do not speak lies.
Personal Guidance
I prayed for one son but now I see forty-nine — how? Tell me the truth, do not lie. The vow-keeper still demands truth from her opponent-turned-helper.
Reflection Questions
- When something expanded unexpectedly, did I demand the truth of how?
- Whom should I be asking for the rest of the story?
