In addition to these sons were Kavi, Havi, Antarikṣa, Prabuddha, Pippalāyana, Āvirhotra, Drumila, Camasa and Karabhājana. These were all very exalted, advanced devotees and authorized preachers of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. These devotees were glorified due to their strong devotion to Vāsudeva, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Therefore they were very exalted. To satisfy the mind perfectly, I [Śukadeva Gosvāmī] shall hereafter describe the characteristics of these nine devotees when I discuss the conversation between Nārada and Vasudeva.

Translation
In addition to these sons were Kavi, Havi, Antarikṣa, Prabuddha, Pippalāyana, Avirhotra, Drumila, Camasa and Karabhājana, who were all very exalted, advanced devotees. I shall hereafter describe the characteristics of these nine devotees in the conversation between Nārada and Vasudeva in the Eleventh Canto, which is filled with the glories of the Lord and satisfies the mind.
Upariṣṭāt means later, in the Eleventh Canto.
Personal Guidance
Of all the offices a soul can hold, being an authorized preacher of the Bhāgavatam — speaking Kṛṣṇa's glories to others — is among the most exalted. The nine Yogendras show that devotional teaching is itself a destination, not a step on the way to one.
Reflection Questions
- Whose hearing of Kṛṣṇa's name and pastimes is currently in your power to influence?
- Where have you stayed silent about what you know, when even a small word would have helped someone?
