Personal Guidance
In the second month, every six days he ate only dry grass and leaves. The path narrows on its own; the seeker doesn't have to enforce austerity from outside, the deepening absorption naturally reduces the appetite.
Reflection Questions
- Have I noticed times when absorption itself reduced my hungers, instead of the other way around?
- Where could I trust deepening practice to do what willpower alone hasn't?
