incarnations of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
Lord Brahmā continued: Let there be good fortune to both of you, for you and King Indra are both part and parcel of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Therefore you should not be angry with King Indra, who is nondifferent from you.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
You should not show anger to Indra, since he is non-different from you. Good fortune to both of you, who are forms of the Supreme Lord! You should not show anger, because he is non-different from you, since you are both avatāras of the Lord.
Be at peace; you and Indra are both part of the Lord. The 'enemy/I' frame dissolves when both are recognized as belonging to the same Whole.
Reflection Questions
  • Where could remembering shared belonging dissolve a current rivalry?
  • What is the smallest first peace I could make today?
