Being thus informed, the grandson of King Vena immediately began to follow Indra, who was fleeing through the sky in great haste. He was very angry with him, and he chased him just as the king of the vultures chased Rāvaṇa.

Translation
Thus being ordered, the son of Pṛthu pursued Indra, who was moving quickly in the sky, just as the king of vultures Jaṭāyu pursued Rāvaṇa.
Tvaramāṇam refers to Indra. The king of vultures is Jaṭāyu.
Personal Guidance
The grandson of Vena chased Indra angrily through the sky like the vulture-king chased Rāvaṇa. Anger correctly aimed at thieves dressed in robes is itself a service to dharma.
Reflection Questions
- Where do I dampen my anger before checking whether it's correctly aimed?
- What does dharmic chasing look like in my modern environment?
