Translation
The rivers, oceans, mountains, snakes, cows, birds, animals, sky, earth and all living beings offered gifts.
Rivers, seas, hills, serpents, cows, birds, heaven and earth — all brought offerings according to capacity. Every being has something to give; the king's coronation reveals the generosity of the whole web of beings.
Reflection Questions
  • Whose 'small contribution' have I undervalued in someone's success?
  • Where am I treating offerings as if only the big ones matter?
