There the great sage concentrated his mind by the yogic breathing exercises, and thereby controlling all attachment, he remained standing on one leg only, eating nothing but air, and stood there on one leg for one hundred years.

Translation
In a grove of flowering palāśa and aśoka trees filled with the sound of the Nirvindhyā River, Atri, controlling his mind and breath, remained standing on one foot for a hundred years, consuming only air. He stood in a grove of trees with flower clumps. Udghuṣṭe means “sounding.”
Atri stood on one leg, eating only air, for a hundred years — focused intensity, not casual hope, attracts the Lord. Half-measured wishes don't move the universe. Be honest about how much you actually want Kṛṣṇa.

  • Where in my sādhana am I offering half-attention and expecting full results?
  • What would 'one-pointed' look like for me this week?
