Kardama Muni’s daughter Kalā, who was married to Marīci, gave birth to two children, whose names were Kaśyapa and Pūrṇimā. Their descendants are spread all over the world.

Translation
Kāla, daughter of Kardama, and the wife of Marīci, gave birth to Kaśyapa and Pūrṇiman, whose descendents spread throughout the universe. By their descendents (yayoḥ) the universe became full.
Kalā's children spread across the world — when a marriage is rooted in dharma, its reach exceeds the couple's intentions. Your spiritual partnership is a seed whose tree you may never fully see.

  • Is my closest partnership planted in dharma or in convenience?
