Thus married, the sages took leave of Kardama and departed full of joy, each for his own hermitage, O Vidura.

Gauḍīya
Translation
O Vidura! Then those sages, married, taking leave of Kardama, returned their hermitages in joy.
Nimantrya means “asking if they could leave.” Nandim means joy.
Personal Guidance
The sages, married, take leave joyfully and each returns to his own hermitage. Even after a great communal event, each goes to his own particular place. Joy is found in returning to your specific calling.
Reflection Questions
- After communal gatherings, do I return to my hermitage with joy or with reluctance?
- Where is my hermitage right now — what's my particular ground?
