Did they evolve the creation in conjunction with their respective wives, did they remain independent in their action, or did they all jointly produce it?
Gauḍīya Ācāryas
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura
Gauḍīya
Translation
How did they create along with their wives? Did they do this independently or together?
Sadvitīyāḥ means “with their wives.” Did they do creation (karmaṣu) so without depending on others or did they do so depending on many others?
Personal Guidance
Did they create with their wives, alone, or jointly? Vidura asks the structural question — was creation collaborative? Some creative acts require partnership; others independence; others combined effort. Knowing which is which is itself wisdom.
Reflection Questions
- Am I trying to create alone what should be a partnership, or vice versa?
- Which of my current 'creations' calls for joint, separate, or coordinated effort?
