Such demigods as Lord Brahmā achieved their exalted positions simply by seeing Your beautiful lotus feet after their minds had become mature in yoga practice. And now, my Lord, You have personally appeared before me.
Purport
Mārkaṇḍeya Ṛṣi points out that exalted demigods like Lord Brahmā achieved their positions simply by glimpsing the Lord’s lotus feet, and yet Mārkaṇḍeya Ṛṣi was now able to see Lord Kṛṣṇa’s entire body. Thus he could not even imagine the extent of his good fortune.

Translation
Such devatās as Lord Brahmā achieved success by seeing your lotus feet in their minds by mature yoga practice. And now, my Lord, you have appeared before my eyes.
Having seen your lotus feet, Brahmā and others became successful. The verb should be supplied.
Personal Guidance
Even Brahma achieved his exalted post by seeing the Lord's lotus feet after mature yoga. The highest beings ascended by seeing — not by power-acquisition. Sight of the Lord is the only true elevation.
Reflection Questions
- Am I trying to climb by power, or by deepening my sight of Him?
- What practice purifies the eye that sees Him?
