Translation
Experts in the subtle workings of nature, O subduer of the enemy, have declared that there are continuous processes of creation and annihilation that all created beings, beginning with Brahmā, constantly undergo. This verse speaks of the nitya-pralaya (destruction at every moment).
Creation and destruction are not only cosmic events — they happen continuously in every being, from Brahma downward. Each moment something is being made and unmade in us. Subtle perception sees this and stops clinging to any momentary form.
Reflection Questions
  • Can I sense how 'I' am being remade in this very hour?
  • What loosens when I stop demanding any state of mine to last?
