Gauḍīya
Translation
Thus I have described in brief all the kings—past, present and future—who belong to the dynasties of the sun and the moon.
This concludes the description what started in Canto Nine.
Personal Guidance
Past, present and future kings have all been named — a long, finished list. Such finality is meditative: every story ends. Our task is to live a story whose meaning doesn't depend on continuing to be remembered.
Reflection Questions
- What part of my legacy am I clinging to?
- What would I do today that doesn't need to be remembered to be worth doing?
