O master.
O Lord Viṣṇu, the learned say that for any man, constant remembrance of You will destroy the darkness of ignorance. O master, I have wronged You!
Gauḍīya Ācāryas
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura
Gauḍīya
Translation
O Viṣṇu! O master! The learned say that for any man, constant remembrance of you will destroy the darkness of ignorance. And I have wronged such a person!
Personal Guidance
The learned say constant remembrance of You destroys ignorance's darkness — and I have wronged You. Repentance includes admitting that one knew better.
Reflection Questions
- Where do I know better and still wrong the Lord?
- What does honest repentance involve?
