Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
In the useless endeavor for further wealth, I have lost all wealth. Discriminating persons are able to utilize their money, youth and strength to achieve perfection. Now that I am an old man, what can I achieve? Being mad in pursuing useless wealth, I have lost all wealth. By wealth, youth and strength, those with intelligence achieve perfection. What can an old make like me accomplish?
Wise persons use money, youth, strength for perfection; he squandered these on more wealth, and now in old age, what can he achieve? Time-windows close.
