Afflicted in mind, he asked Sañjaya who was sitting there, “O son of Gavalgaṇa, where is our father, my blind, aged uncle, his wife grieving for her slain children, and my uncle and friend Vidura?”

Personal Guidance
Anxious, he asked Saṅjaya: where is our blind old uncle? Concern after the fact is honest, even if late. Asking 'where is he?' is itself a form of love.
Reflection Questions
- Whose absence have I noticed only after they were gone?
- Where can I ask 'where are you?' before someone is gone?
