Out of profound affection for Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Pāṇḍavas, who were of the Kuru dynasty, accompanied Him a considerable distance to see Him off. They were overwhelmed with the thought of future separation. The Lord, however, persuaded them to return home, and He proceeded towards Dvārakā with His dear companions.

Personal Guidance
Out of profound affection, the Pāṇḍavas accompanied Him a considerable distance to see Him off, overwhelmed by future separation. The Lord eventually persuaded them to return. Love walks as far as it can — then must turn back.
Reflection Questions
- Whom did I 'walk only halfway' for when I could have gone further?
- Where am I refusing to turn back when love is asking me to?
