Founded by spiritual leader Ganapathi Sachchidananda, the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple in Frisco, Texas broke ground in 2007 and opened to the public on 23 July 2015. Built to Agama Shastra specifications by architect Thangam Subramanian Sthapathi, the 34,000-square-foot temple gained a 72-foot Raja Gopuram entrance tower in 2019. Roughly a week after its opening, on 1 August 2015, the temple set a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa, sustained for more than 24 hours — a milestone that helped put the young temple on the national map.

Centered exclusively on Hanuman (its name, “Karya Siddhi,” translates to “fulfillment of desires/tasks”), the temple has grown alongside North Texas’s fast-expanding Indian-American population; by 2023 it was described as home to the largest Hindu prayer hall in the state of Texas.
