anurakta-dhiyo bhaktāḥ kecana jñāna-vartmani |
[anurakta-dhiyo bhaktaah kechana jnaana-vartmani |]
śāntasyāśraya-bhinnatve vairasyaṁ nānumanvate ||77||

Some devotees whose hearts are attached to the path of jñāna do not consider it distasteful when the āśraya of śānta-rasa is different from the āśraya of the conflicting rasa (as in the previous example).
Purport
Although this is a contradiction of mellows, there is no incompatibility, because even a brahmānandī will become attracted to Kṛṣṇa.
