A condition of almost total lack of consciousness arising from disturbance of the dhātus due to grief is called apasmāra (epilepsy). In that state there is falling on the ground, running about, pain in the limbs, confusion, shaking of the body, foaming at the mouth, flailing the arms and shouting.
