A long narrow cloth wrapped around the waist, cloth folded to resemble a serpent’s hood at the front, flower ornaments and a small stick in His hand are considered the ornaments of the last part of the kaumāra age.
Purport
At the end of His kaumāra age, Kṛṣṇa carried a small stick in His hand, His clothing was a little longer, and He had a knot around His waist, resembling the hood of a snake.

Commentary
Dhaṭī is a long, narrow cloth. It looks attractive, wrapping the lower half of the body in various ways. Phaṇa-paḍī is piece of cloth that looks like serpent’s hood in front and sewn at the back to look like a small dhaṭī. It is tucked in at the waist.
